Bar Forbína
The Forbína cocktail bar completes the trio of iconic venues in Prague’s Lažanský Palace, alongside the famous Slavia Café and Parnas Restaurant. The concept was to create a bar where the boundaries between guests and bartenders dissolve. To achieve this, the bar counter and the work surface merge into a single continuous element. Guests can watch cocktails being prepared up close from every seat in the bar.
The new rosewood wall cladding continues the historic interior, incorporating bespoke marquetry by Michal Bačák. These artistic inlays evoke the atmosphere of a mythical garden hidden behind the curtain, inspired by the neighboring National Theatre.
